Our family attended a unique birthday party this evening for a friend. The surprise event was held at a ballroom dance studio where several of us between snacking and socializing received some personal instruction and everyone got in on some small group lessons. The kids were also invited and, although they spent most of the evening running around sliding on their socks, it was surprisingly non-intrusive to the adults' lessons.
